We named this website Emissaries of Change to embrace all the people who believe or know that all of us have a spark of divinity within.
I do not think it is possible to live in peace on this earth without knowing divinity.
If you are a person who resonates with this universal truth, then you as well are an Emissary of Change.
There is no doubt we are living in extremely dire times, and that any attempt to liberate the darkness into light, both internally and externally, is a good thing.
May this website be a light post reminder of what we are currently in the midst of.
I think we are all living through the painful birth of the coming golden age.
The inevitable trauma of balancing the scales is a natural occurrence.
The new songs I have written reflect much of this, and I will be releasing them soon. My hope is that this website will unfold into a magic carpet of possibilities. It's not called the Great Mystery by accident.
May we never stop looking within and asking for salvation.

"--excerpt from the Cree Prophecy, also known as The Prophecy of the Rainbow Warrior When Silversong shared the Prophecy with me, I thought how cool, and she told me to use her painting of the four colored feet symbolizing the different races called All My Relations as a CD cover. It was many years before I realized the Prophecy was a well known thing. I had thought of sending my song about the Rainbow Warrior Prophecy to Greenpeace as a theme song. Little did I know Greenpeace has sailed with the name Rainbow Warrior since 1978... I was like whoa, ha-ha!

We are all connected by invisible threads, every atom touching every atom, subatomically unified. My dear friend Maribel introduced me to Silversong at an art show. Siversong inspired me to make my first CD and I wrote the song The Prophecy of the Rainbow Warriors. Silversong did the art for my 1st CD and Loree her daughter the art for my 2nd CD. Maribel who is helping me lay out this website just put up these awesome paintings by her friend Anne, who I had asked 12 years ago to make me a video of the Prophecy song. Anne just made the video in 2024 with these stellar paintings she did with the video in mind. Loree, Silversong's daughter, made a video of "Leggo My Ego" from my 2nd CD, and her cousin Sherie wrote co-lyrics on that song. And so the circle goes beyond the course of time.
My dear friend Silversong Belcourt Anderson who always made great statements, like "Its easy to love the lovely." One of my favorites was while in a guided group meditation, they had left Earth, and were floating in outer space, and out of the darkness came Silversong's voice, "Houston, I think we have a problem. " That was timely! Sometimes at the right moment she'd look at me and say " it happens that people just fly off your medicine wheel and into the bush," with a gleam in her eye. Another good one was " We all used to meet at the bank, with a fallen tree as a desk for exchanges...the River Bank. " ha-ha! She was so insightful when she was asked to help out a local tribe with their issues. Walking to the blackboard full of every conceivable problem, without looking back, grabbed an eraser and cleared a large circle in the middle of their neatly written words. When she turned around they looked quite angry, but they soon realized her point of clearing a space for possibility.
One acronym for FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real. Silversong said how about: F--k Everything And Run! How many times I remember her saying to folks, "and how's that workin' out for ya.."she'd laugh and they'd laugh back, 'cause whatcha gonna do. Without Silversong I probably wouldn't have recorded my tunes, there'd be no website, and you wouldn't be reading this. She asked me to play one of my songs in Bellingham at an Honor Day gathering by the water. While performing my tune, a train passed by, suddenly blaring its horn. I was so startled I forgot the last verse- oh my! Silversong was really big on the connectedness of all things. When they told her she probably wouldn't live another year, she told me she didn't have time for that and lived 9 more. Once she said "don't trust anyone who hasn't had an emotional trauma" I said I can see some truth in that.
A number of times before giving a talk before a large group she'd tell me, "This will be interesting - to see what I have to say today." Silversong gave my wife Erin & I a great Native American marriage ceremony. She tied our fingers together with an eagle feather dangling down, then imparted some real life wisdom. Every year was her Honor Day gathering, a Blessed gift to all who attended. When the Dalai Lama was in Seattle, she was invited on stage with him, and broke protocol by handing him her little drum. He loved it and played it, and then she had a nice talk with him backstage. Got a picture of herself with the Dalai Lama, which she made copies of and autographed for her friends - like a rock star!
Many times Silversong would say to me, about herself: " Pretty good for a little bush Indian," and I'd concur. She also often mentioned "500 years of genocide and persecution, concerning the indigenous peoples. " In her younger years she experienced a lot of trauma and had a huge white man chip on her shoulder, but she broke through to the other side. Saw the reality of karma and past existences. The futility of hate and blew it away. I thought it would be cool to have a big sister and I had one in Silversong. She always said she wanted to be an old moccasin faced elder and in a way she was, without all the wrinkles. She loved alot and alot loved back. We miss you, Cosmic Rascal. Go with God, Silversong - the Great Spirit. I'll be running into your essence again... After all, you're family.
